Valentino announced on Thursday that Maria Grazia Chiuri is stepping down from her role as co-creative director. Chiuri is leaving after 17 years with the brand and eight in her role as co-creative director alongside Pierpaolo Piccioli, with whom she had previously worked with for 10 years at Fendi. Piccolo will take the helm of Valentino as the sole creative director. The news comes after the duo presented their Elizabethan-themed Autumn/Winter 2016 couture show in Paris.
