Designer Jil Sander announced on Thursday that she is exiting her namesake label for the third time. Sander, who designs both womenswear and menswear, has served as the creative director of her namesake brand. WWD reports that Sander is leaving "for personal reasons" and that the Spring 2014 collection she showed in Milan in September was her last. This marks Sander's third departure. She left in 2000 after Prada bought a controlling stake in the company. She returned in 2003 for about a year before leaving once more, and was replaced by the now-creative director at Dior, Raf Simons. Then last February, Sander came back after Raf Simons stepped down from his position as creative director. No word yet on who will fill her place this time.
