We caught up with new face, Dominik Sadoch (Success, BOOM, Soul Artist Management, Supa), who was all over the runways in Europe during his first season in January (think: Lanvin, Dior Homme, Kris Van Assche, Raf Simons, J.W. Andersen, etc.) and in town for the presentation of Dior Homme's Autumn collection last week. He spoke to us about where he was discovered, his first big job, what he's obsessed with, and more …
AGE: 16. I'm turning 17 in July.
HOMETOWN: I’m from Poland. I live nearby Warsaw, where I am every day because of school.
I WAS DISCOVERED … in a mall when I was out shopping with my parents by people from some advertising agency. They told me I should try modeling. So, I sent some usual pictures to the agency in Warsaw and it has been my mother agency ever since.
MY FIRST BIG SHOW: Lou Dalton F/W 2014 was my first European show, during my first season in Europe. Before that I did seven shows in Tokyo.
DID YOU THINK YOU WERE "MODEL MATERIAL"? Not at all! It always was something incomprehensible to me, maybe because I was so young. But when these people told me I could be a model, I started thinking about it and got really excited. I knew I would enjoy it and that it is something I wanted to do.
I'M DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MODELS BECAUSE … I’m very young. It’s pretty hard to meet a male model younger than me among the models that actually work.
WHAT SURPRISED ME MOST ABOUT MODELING: It’s unpredictable, which makes it very interesting and everybody knows each other! It’s amazing.
OUTSIDE OF MODELING, I AM … in my first year of high school studying extended maths.
I'M OBSESSED WITH: Game of Thrones season 4, fancy hand dryers, and crazy swimming sloths just make me laugh!
