We caught up with new face Ted Le Sueur (FM London), who spent his first season walking for J.W. Anderson, Burberry, and PRADA. He spoke to us about his personal style, where he was discovered, why he likes J.W. Anderson, and more …
AGE: I'm 18 years old.
HOMETOWN: I'm from Nottingham, England.
I WAS SCOUTED …. at Glastonbury Festival in June 2013, by a couple of London-based agencies. I chose FM London over the others, which was an easy decision to make, as my "agent to be" who scouted me, seemed pretty cool and enticing.
DID KNOW YOU WERE MODEL MATERIAL? I don't think so, a few friends had suggested it, but I would never of approached an agency myself. I was too scared of being shot down most likely!
FIRST SHOW: JW Anderson F/W 14. It was such a good first time experience. Jonathan Anderson is a really sound guy and his 'Gender Blind' fashion style is seriously refreshing to see. I met so many cool people and I can't wait for the Spring/Summer shows.
MY PERSONAL STYLE: Pretty much all my clothes are second hand, charity shops and clothing stalls are the best. You can find so many hidden gems in them and its so satisfying to find a bargain! I’m an art student so it would be a crime if my clothes weren’t slightly eccentric to fill the stereotype. But really I just like to dress well with cheap clothes. So, I would say my style was "street sharp n hip." [laughs]
DO YOU THINK YOU'RE HOT? Not at all. I just see myself as a standard geezer lucky enough to be modeling and working for big brands!
