It is here! Nicolas Ghesquière's first ad campaign for Louis Vuitton. You probably know by now that Ghesquière, creative director of Louis Vuitton, took the resigns at the iconic Paris-based design house last year, following the departure of long-time director, Marc Jacobs. After making his debut this past March with Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection, Ghesquière has enlisted the help of some truly major industry names to help him implement his vision for his first ad campaign for the brand, which he has dubbed “Series 1.” Photographers Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz and Juergen Teller (and not Stephen Meisel, who was a favorite of Marc Jacobs in his creative directorial days at the Paris-based design house) contributed to Ghesquière’s debut campaign (see more of it below). Ghesquière muse Charlotte Gainsbourg, models Liya Kebede and Freja Beha Erichsen (both of whom walked in the Fall/Winter 2014 runway show, which Erichsen opened) and Jean Campbell front the campaign, which was shot in New York, Miami and Venice.
