Spring/Summer 2017 marks Jonathan Saunders’ debut for Diane Von Furstenberg and the Scottish designer-turned-recent New York resident is making his mark on the brand. With DVF, herself, no long overseeing design, Saunders is free to modernize the brand’s offerings, turning out some of the most appealing designs we’ve seen from DVF in quite a few seasons. Known for his expert use of prints and color, Saunders’ touch is all over this collection – mixed with the asymmetric elements pulled from DVF's most iconic creation, the wrap dress. This might just be the beginning of a beautiful marriage. And a dynamic and rather interesting first go-around, if you ask me.
