Exactly a year after announcing the Balmain and H&M collaboration at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing took to his Instagram on Sunday to announce his forthcoming collaboration with NikeLab. Sharing an image of the Portland-based sportswear giant's logo along with his own personal "OR" logo, the creative director, who has built up the Paris-based house thanks to the help of his biggest fans, the reality television family, the Kardashians, wrote: "ARE YOU READY? #nikelab #dreamteam #champions @nikelab #getready #epic.”
The range, which is currently available only on NikeLab's mobile site, includes men's and women's track pants, tops, and jackets, all done in shades of black and gray accented with gold zippers, trims, and Nike logos. There are four footwear styles, as well.
The Rousteing collection comes on the heels of the recent release of Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci's second Nike x RT collection for the sportswear brand's NikeLab division.
