Alexander Wang definitely did not go the traditional route for his S/S 2013 menswear collection. When most designers are showing lighter colors and fabrics, Wang went almost strictly black and showed quite a bit of leather. Sure there was some white here and there, and even touches of red, but for the most part, the sports-inspired collection was clean and dark, and rather attractive. The use of leather, the loosely-fitting shorts, the large sweatshirts, the hoods and the look of the models, I couldn't help but feel the influence of Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy.
