Per Page Six, Mary-Kate Olsen (above, left) tied the knot with her French banker beau of three years, Olivier Sarkozy, this Friday in New York. Olsen, 29, and Sarkozy, 46, reportedly held an intimate dinner and ceremony at their residence on 49th Street in NYC's Turtle Bay neighborhood. "Cocktails were served in a rear garden before the 50 guests dined indoors. Attendees were required to turn in their cellphones beforehand,” according to the New York Post.
With most other wedding details under wraps, the most noteworthy bit of information about the evening seems to be the “party décor," which consisted of “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night.”
There is no word yet on who was in attendance but it has been previously reported that Mary-Kate's family, including twin sister Ashley and younger sibling Elizabeth, 26, "love" their sister's choice of husband. The American designer is also a hit among Sarkozy's friends, who described her as "funny and sweet," according to sources.
This is Mary-Kate's first marriage, and Sarkozy's second. The half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, has two children Julien, 13, and 11-year-old Margo from his previous marriage to Charlotte Bernard.
