Yesterday, we wrote about the latest Urban Outfitters controversy: the Jewish Star t-shirt. Since then, Brian Jense, the co-founder of Wood Wood, the design label behind the tee, has spoken out to settle some of the drama and a new version of the t-shirt (below right) has appeared on the Urban Outfitters' website. Jense says the star was initially on an early sample-version of the t-shirt but was redesigned when the label realized the potential similarity to the Jewish Star. He further asserts that picture on the website (below left) was a mistake. What do you think: a mistake or a quick fix to avoid the wrath of the Anti-Defamation League of Philadelphia? We will likely never know.
