Paris Hilton has slapped New York-based footwear company, Antebi Footwear Group, with a $1 million-plus lawsuit alleging that they failed to pay her royalties stemming from a licensing agreement for her signature shoe collection. The heiress filed a breach of contract suit in the Southern District of New York, alleging that “Antebi unlawfully attempted to reap millions of dollars in profits from exploiting the lucrative brand of international celebrity Paris Hilton without paying compensation it agreed to pay for its license.” According to the NY Daily News, the suit claims Hilton is owed more than $1 million in royalties, based off 8 percent royalties of net sales, under a licensing agreement with Antebi that commenced in 2009. In addition to damages, Hilton  is also seeking a court order to terminate the licensing agreement, which reportedly runs through the end of 2014.
